[ExI] storms again

Tropical storm Fay has formed.  Currently it is a tossup whether it makes it
to hurricane status or fizzles out, but each day it isn't up to hurricane
strength sets a new record for the latest first hurricane of the season.  If
Fay fizzles, this year will set a record that is unlikely to be broken in
the lifetime of anyone reading this message, even assuming we have stealth
teenagers among us and of course assuming AI neither slays everyone nor
solves every remaining medical mystery, enabling arbitrarily long lives.  

 

As I write that last part, it sure seems like it must be one or the other.
