--That was to be expected. People like to think of
themselves as consistent (as opposed to
"flip-floppers"). Those who initially believed the GOP
spin about Kerry and then found him more
"presidential" than expected will take a little while
to adjust their opinion, to avoid seeing themselves as
wavering.
