Did you even take five minutes to  read that interview?

Besides Guy being a colleague, a friend, a very funny and
nice person, I'm convinced that he, or those like him,
are necessary to show devoutly religious people how important
is science. He's an excellent 'bridge' between science and
religion, and a model of a person following their passions.

(BTW, I met him years before he went to the Vatican.)
