Ja.  It is one of those cases where the patient is ambivalent, but recognizes that all three of his offspring are smarter and better educated than he is.  So... he hands them the decision, and they are all about moving forward with what I would call a questionable surgery.

I jump at every opportunity to say nothing.  I noticed the other in laws are doing likewise.
