What would work would be if he were in communication with all future
versions of himself equally: he would then get an overall feeling of what
was to happen in proportion to the weighting given by the number of versions
experiencing each outcome. Tapping into one version by chance would give the
same effect, but then you also have to explain why, if communication is
allowed between worlds at all, communication is allowed with only one.
