Bought the book.  Thanks, Bill.

Marx's scheme called for a substantial change in individual human nature,
from what we might call enlightened self-interest to a predominant, nay
overwhelming, concern for the welfare of others.  The New Soviet Man in
Marxism-Leninism called for the same.  There is no "natural" mechanism to
make this change, thus totalitarianism.  We'll get used to it, more or
less.  Doesn't work.

Agree with Max re dictatorship not withering away, also.
